This tour takes you through a lot of greenery and off the beaten track to the south of Essen to Baldeneysee, the Dilldorfer Höhe and along the romantic Deilbach to the centre of Kupferdreh with its charming houses, to Bender Park and, of course, to the historic market square.
Entertaining tasks and exciting questions await you at the stops. For example, who knows where the name Kupferdreh actually comes from? And what does a miner call a “Hunt”? And what does all this have to do with Ying and Yang? Find out!
On the way you can also visit a museum railway and the popular Mineral Museum. This geological “chamber of wonders” also presents meteorites, crystals and fossils.
